POTAN helps and hand holds the Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to manage the production base, setting up the value addition units and connecting the buyers. POTAN takes care of the consolidation of different producer groups and creating specific product themes and building value chains along with the FPOs.
POTAN to work closely with the micro, small and medium level food processors in Tamil Nadu who are in need of the good market connections, technical support and brand promotion. It has devised a model to engage them with continuous capacity building and on the go skill development to build big brands.
POTAN is to augment the resources, skill sets, production systems and build an ecosystem with farmers, Farmer Producer Organisations, food processors and buyers who can offer their products and services. Providing a wide range of products from Superfoods, native herbs, forest collections and staples out of Tamil Nadu. POTAN to manage the business platform that would benefit the stakeholders to learn and earn more both technically and commercial as well.
